Well, I'm officially off for summer! I had my meetings and my last day of those was last Wednesday. We have been having a great time! Scott has started to crawl already! He is still mostly doing the army crawl (more like scooting, without lifting his belly off the floor) but he is getting around quickly! We are busy running around trying to keep electronics (which seem to be his favorite) and dog toys/food out of his path, which is quite the challenge. We went to a wedding for a coworkers the first weekend after I finished school. It was a really nice wedding, but Scott was extremely tired and it took us like 20 minutes to get him to fall asleep. Other than that, he was really good. The ceremony was beautiful though!

We went to Cleveland a few weekends ago, where we met Chris' parents. We did the Color Run, while they watched Scott. It was a ton of fun!

However, Chris got sick that weekend, so he couldn't enjoy it the whole time. We also went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is ridiculously huge. It was cool for a little while, but when Scott was getting tired and was fighting sleep, it started getting frustrating. Luckily, he passed out on the way back to the hotel. :)
We had a great time with Chris' parents, and had a great trip overall. We are so fortunate to have a happy, healthy baby!

Unfortunately, we had to spend a lot of Father's Day driving home. We went out to breakfast with his parents before we left, but then were in the car for 5ish hours. I put Scott's baseball outfit on because we were going to take Daddy to a baseball game for Father's Day! We didn't do much on the actual day, which I kinda felt bad about since it was Chris' first father's day. He also still wasn't feeling 100%, which was a bummer.

After that, Chris set up our new umbrella for our table on the deck and we have been able to enjoy many summer dinners outside. :) Last Sat. I drove to Lexington to pick up Noelle. She came and stayed with us for a few days. We had lots of fun while she was here. We did our nails, went shopping one day, and went up to Newport on the Levee for more shopping and to just enjoy the summer days walking around. She also got me hooked on Psych, which we now watch on Netflix often. I'm really glad she came. She was one of the most polite houseguests we've ever had! (And extremely helpful!) I met Lisa in Lexington on Tuesday to drop Noelle off.
On Wednesday, we celebrated Father's Day! Chris, Scott, and I got to go to a Red's game. We had a great time! We went to a day game, but unfortunately they lost. I guess Scott isn't a good luck charm for them. We sat in some seats in the shade for a while, but soon we were in the sun. Scott got a little bit fussy from being hot, but they had a huge fan with mist that we used to cool him down a few times. I guess he was used to all the yelling, because twice when someone got in front of him so he couldn't feel the fan, he screamed. It was pretty funny. He missed his nap, but he eventually fell asleep on me, without even crying! We had a great time at the game! We also got Chris a mug with pictures of him and Scott on it. I was super excited because it turned out great and Chris loved it. :)

Yesterday, we took my car in to get the brakes worked on and Chris and Scott went with me shopping. I am so thankful for a wonderful family. We have so much fun together! We've been busy, but having a great summer so far!
Oh, Scott also has started eating real food! We started him on sweet potatoes, which he LOVED! Yesterday, we started him on peas. He seems to like them too, but not nearly as much. I'm making my own food, which I really enjoy doing and I can't believe how easy it is. Next, we're on to green beans!
