Scott Thomas!

Wow! I can't believe it's already March! Things have sure changed since I last posted! Scott Thomas Boerner (as I'm sure you all know) was born on Dec. 29 after I was induced because he wanted to stay in too long according to the doctors. I go back to school next week after being on maternity leave for 12 weeks. I have really enjoyed my time home with Scott. He is such a happy baby. It was rough at first, but we are doing well now. We have had lots of visitors and have made some trips ourselves. Last weekend, Scott and I drove to meet up with some family and spent St. Patty's Day in Chicago and then visiting Auntie. Scott had a little St. Patty's outfit on and was a big hit in Chicago. He even got to see the green river already...well, he would have if he weren't sleeping. :) He pretty much only cries when he wants to eat, be changed, or is tired. He's such a great baby and continues to amaze me. He did great on the long car rides with me even! The last two nights he has been sleeping 7 hours, followed by 3 hours. He is a really happy baby. He is fascinated with lights, his hands, and his feet. He LOVES watching TV whenever he can sneak it in and always enjoys going for walks. He drools like crazy, eats a lot, and smiles even more. He finally started gaining weight more quickly and now is growing like crazy! He weighed in this week at 10 lbs. 4 oz. which is crazy to think about since that's how much I weighed when I was born. Oh, he loves talking lately too. He watches your mouth and tries to copy the movements of your mouth and tongue. I love this little man like crazy. I wish I didn't have to go back to work. Paris still isn't too sure about touching him, although she seems to want to protect him and will lay near him and watch him a lot. People keep commenting about how he can hold his head up so well and is so alert, but those have both been true from the beginning. As for me, I started running after my doctors oked it at my 6 wk appointment. After 5 weeks, I finally started to lose some baby weight! Here are some pictures, sorry for not posting for so long! I'll try to get more up soon too. Oh, and I couldn't get them in the right order. Oh well. :)

She says he looks just like my grandpa. He looks just like a "Baby Eddy" she kept saying.
